Professional Development Scheduling

Professional Development Scheduling

Scheduling:
Hour long sessions, half day or full day sessions can all be scheduled on weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Area of Focus:
Choose sessions based on the program descriptions or have CMOM custom design a program for you. Alternative workshops are available. Full day sessions can be created with additional related workshops.

Location: CMOM can host sessions at the museum or alternatively can visit your site. Sessions scheduled for Monday afternoons will have exclusive use of the Museum. Participants are welcome to stay and explore the museum after the session.

Meeting Space: Once inspired (CMOM schedule permitting) administrators are welcome to hold “business” meetings in the workshop space for no additional cost.

Fees: Base fees and what is included in each package are listed at the bottom of each description.

Food/Lunches: Most session packages at the museum include a snack as part of the day’s agenda. Breakfast or lunch can be added to sessions at the museum for an additional cost. There are a variety of nearby restaurants and a list of suggestions can be distributed to participants to do lunch on their own.

Give-Aways: CMOM provides a packet of lesson plans, information about the museum and a free family pass for all participants. CMOM can help identify exciting books or prepare activity packets which can be provided to participants at an additional cost.

Contacting CMOM: CMOM can custom design a professional development session for your school, after-school program, community based organization or parent group. To find out more about professional development options or to schedule a session contact Jennifer Kozel at jkozel@cmom.org or 212-721-1223 X241.
