Number of Students and Adults:

All workshop supplies are included, non-toxic and washable.

Making Reservations:
Call 212-721-1223 x225 Monday - Friday. Please note that leaving a message is not a reservation.

Please have the following information ready when you call:

  • Program choices
  • School address and telephone number
  • Contact person to call at school
  • Full names of teachers who will be visiting CMOM
  • List of possible dates (CMOM may not be able to schedule your first choice date)
  • Rescheduling is difficult, so please be aware of testing dates, half days and bus maintenance days.
  • For guided tours, please share any information that will help us to customize your guided experience.
  • All programs can be modified for students with special needs.

Please note that more than one class can be scheduled at the same time; however, classes (even small ones) may not be combined to form one class.

Please arrange 1 adult for every 8 children. Chaperones are included in the program fee.

Payments/Confirming Reservations:
Once a reservation has been made, a reservation letter/invoice will be sent by mail. For guided tours, please read the reservation letter carefully and note payment due date. For guided tours, payment in full must be received at least four weeks prior to the visit date or the reservation will be given away without notification. Checks and money orders should be made payable to Children’s Museum of Manhattan.

CMOM is a contracted vendor with the New York City Department of Education. CMOM must receive a hard copy of any NYC DOE purchase orders at least four weeks prior to the program date or the reservation will be given away without notification.

A confirmation letter (and guided tour pre-visit information) will be mailed as soon as CMOM has received payment.

Cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to the scheduled program in order to receive a refund (50% of the payment is refundable) or to reschedule.

Groups that arrive for a guided tour without a confirmed payment/reservation will not be admitted.

Important Travel Information:
When planning your visit, consider the following:

  • Arrival/Departure Be sure to allow enough travel time. Groups that arrive late will receive a shortened program. Groups arriving early may be asked to wait before entering the building.
