These classes help children make science investigation and art exploration part of everyday learning by exciting them about the process behind creativity.

Budding Bookmakers
Ages 3 – 4 years
Find out how Beatrix Potter transformed her nature studies into beloved characters or how Maurice Sendak created monsters out of memories of his family. Learn about how authors tell their stories and how illustrators make pictures through the creation of books through this exploration of classic children's literature.

Rainforest Explorers
Ages 3 – 4 years
Explore the rainforest, water cycle and animals through interactive stories, art projects, science experiments, and live specimens to learn about the environment!

NEW! Body Matters
Ages 4 – 5 years
Explore the science behind how the body works to keep us healthy and the importance of making smart choices. Children participate in hands-on experiments and art projects, including preparing their own snacks! Working in partnership with the National Institutes of Health, CMOM's unique program combines the latest research for supporting healthy choices with engaging activities.

Science Sampler ll
Ages 4 – 5 years
Explore how the world works through zoology, physics, chemistry and more in this science sampler that encourages learning through hands-on experiments, examining live specimen, testing prototypes and having lots of fun!

Bug Out!
Ages 4 – 5 years
Take a look at how spiders spin webs, crickets make music, butterflies change and fireflies glow in this investigation of the creepy crawly world.

NEW! Printmaking: Goofy Graphics
Ages 5 – 6 years
Make a monoprint, print a silk screen and design a stamp in this class utilizing design principles and the variety of styles with which prints can be made.

Presentation: The Truth about Wild Wolves: The Atka Traveling Ambassador Wolf, 2:00pm

The program will include an awe-inspiring, up-close encounter with this important but misunderstood predator. Families will learn about the history of wolves in the United States, the importance of wolves in a healthy ecosystem, and the efforts to save these magnificent creatures for future generations.  Presented by the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) in South Salem, NY
