On Tuesday May 24, supporters of the Children's Museum of Manhattan gathered at The Lighthouse, Chelsea Piers for a night of celebration and fundraising.

The evening opened with a welcome by Executive Director Andrew Ackerman followed by moving remarks by Prince Baron and Mia Edmondson, individuals whose lives were changed by our work at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. Click here to read their remarks.

Help us continue our work with New York City’s children and families

Following a cocktail hour and European style raffle, the Corporate Leadership Award was accepted by Joan Steinberg of the Morgan Stanley Foundation on behalf of Morgan Stanley.
Morgan Stanley, as part of their nationwide focus on health, has provided funding to the Children’s Museum to support Health and Learning Hubs at seven Head Start Centers in East Harlem. The Children’s Museum was also honored to work with a cross-section of Morgan Stanley employees through the company’s Strategy Challenge to further Museum efforts to encourage healthy lifestyles.
Laurie M. Tisch awarded The Laurie M. Tisch Award to Lauran and Justin Tuck. Philanthropists Lauran and Justin Tuck play a leading role in supporting children’s literacy programs in low-income communities.
